Our 2009 Medfield Day Booth Troop 10 has a booth at the annual Medfield Day celebration, as a means of promoting both the troop and Boy Scouts. The booth is located on Frairy Street, against the metal railing surrounding the pond. This year, the troop built a slightly shorter, but wider tower than last year. It took about 1-1/2 hours to completely assemble it from scratch, but only 30 minutes to take it down at the end of the day. We again ran our traditional "roll the ball down the chute into muffin tins" game, very popular with the crowds. Thanks to Mr Marble for transporting all the poles to & from the booth, and to those who helped with setup/takedown, as well as manning the booth itself. (We'd appreciate if anyone would like to share any additional pictures of this year's booth.) |
