Troop 10 at Camp Squanto - 2011 Photo Gallery

New records were achieved this year.  Twenty nine scouts attended.  (Nine scouts never having been to Squanto before.)  Two scouts earned BSA Lifeguard (the first to do so in over 9 years.)  And for the first time in 6 years, Mr Wheeler was not the only adult who stayed all week long.  Ta Da!

The theme this year was "20,000 Leagues Under Camp Squanto".  It was originally described to us in March as "similar to last years Carnival theme".  Troops could choose their costumes, site decorations and carnival game to be  anything related to the ocean (fishing, pirates, survival on desert island, SpongeBob, etc.)  We learned after arriving at camp that Theme Night itself was to be "beach games", for which our game fitted in quite well. 

Once again, many thanks again to Mr O'Connor and Mrs Bond for heading the consumes, site decorations and game construction for Theme Night this year.
